I haven't blogged in forever. I suppose that's mainly because of twitter, facebook, and the fact that now that I have my iPhone, I'm rarely around my computer. Not to mention typing up a blog post on my iPhone would take forever! However, I have done that once while playing with the first generation iPhone in an Apple store on my way to Charleston, SC with Kevin! I've been wanting to blog though.
I have a good idea for a blog post, which some day I will write, and hopefully soon! When I got my iPhone, I also went crazy and got about 5 cases for it too. I love cases! I had a case for my camera, my Juke (which is now in my brother's care), my iPod Touch (sold!), and any other iPod's or devices I had. So, I've been thinking about writing up a review on some of them. There are tons of reviews out there. But this will just be my little take on some of these cases that I love/like.
I also need to write a blog post about getting a car! That was an experience. A very adult learning experience! It was a very exciting but scary time. So, look for that eventually too.
I haven't really had the most exciting life this summer. Just been working at BreakZONE (not anymore though) and CPE. I did have a couple little trips! One to Busch Gardens and one to New Jersey to visit my grandparents and other family up there. Maybe I'll blog about those.
This is a to do list post it seems, and hopefully I will get to those!

A while back my mom made these really good chocolate strawberry banana soy tofu smoothie drinks, and I've been wanting to find that recipe to make it myself. However, my mom doesn't know which book it came from (maybe Biggest Loser...??) and can't find it. So if you know what I'm talking about, please let me know the recipe! Thanks!
Anyway, I love the Strawberry Banana smoothies at Starbucks. YUM. However, they cost me $4.35 every time I want one! We've been needing a blender in the Condo, and I've really been wanting to make smoothies and all that fun stuff for a while. That's how I started wanting to find that recipe above. Starbucks puts some healthy stuff in their smoothies, and I wanted to make that super healthy yummy smoothie again!
Finally I gave up trying to find the recipe, and decided to use my memory, and combine a bunch of different recipes, and just make it up in general! This is the tale of what came out of that...
I ended up with these ingredients:

Since my fruit was frozen, I didn't bother putting any ice cubes in, but if you are using freshly cut up fruit, you might want to throw a few ice cubes in the blender too.

Toss it all in the blender and blend/whip it all up! It took me a little while to get it all in there and blended up. Either my blender sucks, or there was just too much chunkiness and not enough liquid. But it turned out alright in the end, it just depends on what sort of texture you're looking for. I like chunky!
Cali was curious as to what all the noise I was making was!

After it is all blended up, pour it out into glasses and have a yummy delicious drink! (I was really sad we didn't have any straws in the condo!)

If you try this recipe out and mix it up some, let me know what you end up doing with it! This was purely me making up something I thought might be healthy and yummy at the same time! Which it was decent...it's not like...chocolate milkshake from Macado's mouth orgasm good...but for something healthy, it was really good! (Oh, and this recipe made about two decent sized glasses worth of beverages!)

A little while ago, my mom had a little adventure, that needs to be shared. Everyone needs to take heed from my mother's tale, for your own life!
My mom was leaving her work one afternoon, when the car in front of her ran out of gas. My mom, trying to be a good samaritan, helped the poor guy, even though he did look a little sketchy, she didn't want to be "that person" who judges people. She took him to a gas station down the road so that he could get enough gas to put in his car so he could drive to the gas station himself. The guy had a milk jug to hold the gas. My mom told the guy that he couldn't put the gas in that container because it wasn't a proper receptacle, that he could go in the station and ask the attendants if he could borrow something to hold the gas. Instead, he picked up a bottle of washer fluid, dumped it in the bathroom, then left the building to put gas in it. At this point the cops were called, because the attendants saw this happen. Then the guy asked my mom for some money because he didn't have his wallet on him to get the gas. So she gave him a $1 to get enough gas to take back to his car. He went back into the station, gave them the dollar, put gas in the windshield wiper fluid container, and my mom left with him to go back to his car.
As they are driving off, here comes the cops. The guy told my mom she has done nothing wrong, and to not pull over. However, my mom decided against running from the cops and pulled into the road that goes into the Holiday Inn up there on South Main. The cop comes up to my mom's window and asks for her ID and the guy's ID. Here my mom is thinking they got pulled over for putting gas in the wrong receptacle. She didn't know the guy had stolen the wiper fluid. When the guy gave the cop his ID, from the Indiana State Penitentiary, the cop asked him to step out of the car. My mom explains what happened, and more cops go chasing up to the car the guy had. The next thing my mom knows is the guy is being thrown on the hood of her car and being handcuffed. My mom tells the cop that she'll pay for the windshield wiper fluid, how much could it be!? The cop tells her it has gone way beyond the windshield wiper fluid now.
The guy was an escaped inmate of the Indiana State Penitentiary. He had stolen the car that ran out of gas, had a knife on him, and the tear drop tattoo next to his eye indicated that he had killed someone. WHOA!
Not to mention if the guy had just listened to my mom and asked for a proper receptacle to put the gas in, he would have never been caught. (Well, at least not at that point)
So, as sad as it is to say, don't help any random person who breaks down in front of you! If needed, call someone for them, and then go on your way.
