I had a huge oops moment yesterday evening. An oops moment that involved two cops!
I suppose it all started when I decided I needed food, more than my car needed gas. I didn't have much time before class, and I wanted to eat! Yeah, kinda my main mistake.
After lab, I went over to the MV Practice field, so I could go over to Lane Stadium to help out with Uniforms. While there, Keighley got a call from Sydney, who needed a ride to Lane because she had penny war stuff. So, I drove over to get her, and waited in a parking lot for her. I shut down the engine while I waited. Then, the car wouldn't start. I was like, crap! But eventually it started, and we were on our way, and shortly afterward we were sorting uniforms again.
After that, I had to leave to get home to get a video of my mom telling a story for a class project before I took an exam that evening. So I left the MV field, and decide to go ahead and get gas on my way home. At the stoplight by the big VT on Southgate I ended up getting a red light. After it turned green, my car all of a sudden did a sort of "chug-a-lug" and wouldn't let me go! I was able to pull over a little ways up from the light. I called my dad, no answer. It was then when i saw blue lights flashing. I knew he was probably there just to check to make sure everything was alright, but I started to cry. He probably thought I was a pathetic little college girl. I told him I wasn't sure what happened, because all the lights were on in the dash, but I was probably out of gas. I told him I would try to get a hold of my mom. He stayed behind me to make sure no one ran into the back of my car until my mom came. A little later another police car showed up. I was like, oh crap, what's going on?! He was just relieving the first officer because he was actually on his way to something when I had my mishap. So he stayed behind me until my mom showed up and helped us put gas into my car. I was so relieved when my car started. I told my mom I was going to the gas station, and the policeman laughed and told me getting gas was a good idea!
I filled up my tank. The first time in a really long time! Then when I was on my way to my exam about an hour later...the price of gas was down 3 more cents! Damn!

I love the Easy Chair. It's a local coffee shop in the University Mall, and has fantastic bagels. I love to go in and get a bagel and orange juice. This morning I decided to do such. I ordered and paid, got my orange juice and stood to the side, out of the way to wait. And I waited. One person orders, gets their food, and leaves. Another person does the same. Two more people do the same. After the second person I figured something was up, but I waited to see, just in case. No. My order had been forgotten. So I was a little pissed after standing there like an idiot for 15 minutes. I went up to the guy making the food, who had also taken my order, and told him I thought my order was forgotten. He asked me what I had ordered, I told him, Plain Bagel with Plain Cream Cheese....not very hard. He didn't say another word, just turned around and made it. After he made it, and called out it was ready, no apology, no nothing. That pissed me off even more. So Easy Chair, for now, you've lost a customer. Maybe I'll just go to Starbucks!

P.S. This a few days after my food was forgotten at Awful Arthur's...what's going on food service world?!
This morning I went to the dentist to get prep done for my crown. Of course they had to shoot me up with numbing crap. Even into my gums. That hurts like none other! He had to shape down my tooth. I don't understand the logistics, I just sat there with my mouth open.
At one point, my numb tongue traveled in the way of the tooth drill and cut it up a little:
I didn't feel it until the numbing went away. Now it hurts like heck.
After all the drilling, he took a mold of my teeth, and then put a temporary crown in until my permanent crown comes in a few weeks! It looks copper, and I think it's pretty!
So I'm in pain, and I would love for all this to be over now! Good news is, the dentist said that next time he wouldn't have to numb my tooth! :)

As a way to create late night procrastination...I have finally decided to stop procrastinating on the little things I keep meaning to blog about, but never get around to it. Most of these are random screen shots I created to talk about, because I felt like it!
Let's start with the day of my birthday, July 27th, 2008. I woke up and checked facebook, because it's like Christmas morning to see all the messages you get from people who care enough to wish you a happy birthday! Actually, Christmas morning a lot of people get on facebook wishing everyone a Merry Christmas. But anyway, that's besides the point! I'm not sure if they have always done this and I just forgot, but I was excited. I opened facebook and this appears at the top of the window:

That would have totally made my day, but hey, it was my birthday, so much better stuff to come! Like getting a ton of Vera Bradley stuff from my grandma to match my new glasses, and having my first legal drink (in the US) bought by my godparents, and hanging with my boyfriend and friends, and making new best friends! :) Great day! Keighley and I have decided we're celebrating our half birthdays in January, since our birthdays are in the summer and no one is ever around!
Next we'll change gears and go to Plurk. This is a website that is similar to Twitter, but with a few differences. Like how the timeline scrolls like an actually timeline, but not really, and you can comment on your friend's updates. Kevin was trying it out, and I figured, why not I try it out too! I caught on to it more than Kevin did. He tried, but he just couldn't get into it. There is a feature of Plurk called Karma. Basically your Karma will go up if you plurk reasonably everyday, and get friends, and comment on others and get comments. As your Karma goes up, you get access to more features of Plurk. Well, after using it for a while, I got tired of it. Twitter hasn't been fail whaling a whole lot, at least not to me, recently, and I would rather stick with that, than have two. So I decided that when I got to Plurk Nirvana, I would quit using Plurk! Well, after forever and forever, I finally made it! I documented the occasion by using Grab on my macbook, and got my proof:

81.01 was the absolute lowest you can get for it to turn over to Plurk Nirvana. There is no where to go from there. So I quit. It did go up a bit more, since I did plurk about getting plurk nirvana and how I was leaving. But now it is down to 57.07, and it has almost been a month since I last stopped using it. I would have thought it would go down faster. It was really hard to get up to Plurk Nirvana, though. You have to plurk perfectly!
There is a graph you can see to show your Karma:

I put a link to the actual image so you can see it bigger. The real size wouldn't fit in my blog space! You can see how times I would lost Karma, then pick back up again. I deserved that plurk nirvana for how hard I worked on it!
Way back at the beginning of September we were getting ready for a football game. We were worried because Tropical Storm Hannah was predicted to hit us that day. I checked the radar, and she was just miles away from us...and that is the closest she ever came. We had no rain that day. It was crazy and hard to believe!

The black plus sign in the white circle is where Blacksburg is. Hannah was that close, yet never hit us! Amazing!
The next few screen shots are from my iPod Touch!
I downloaded a bunch of free games from the app store this morning, just because I have a lot of times were I have a few minutes where I'm waiting for a class to start, and it isn't enough time to really do anything, but it is still boring just sitting there. Thus where these little games, that take no real amount of time come in! Today I was waiting for lab to start, and I was playing the air hockey game...which is completely awesome, especially for being free! I was playing against the computer, who is a tough competetor if I do say so myself, and I won. It was my first time playing it, so I was excited, but I felt sorry for the computer, because after I won, it flashed LOSER! on its side, and YOU WIN! on my side:

It just made me laugh. :)
I think if I had lost, it would have made me cry...
A while ago, Kevin and I played Dots. This is another one where I won...haha, so I just wanted to gloat a little:

In keeping the the spirit of games, back when I first got my ipod touch, I showed a screen shot of a high score of the jawbreaker game. Since then I have beaten it, and I was quite excited when I got almost all of the blue on the screen to touch, but a pesky two!

Kevin got me into a few podcasts on revision3, and one of them is the Internet Superstar show. It is a podcast where they interview people who have made it big on the internet. This particular podcast they were interviewing the stars of the Midwest Teen Sex Show. I was so excited when I saw one of them wearing a threadless shirt!

Yay! He is wearing:
I always get so excited when i see people wearing threadless shirts. Just because I am crazy about them, and I have like...40 of them. Also, the receptionist at Ace of Cakes also wears threadless shirts, which makes an already awesome show, so much awesomer! I've also seen threadless on Scrubs. So basically, when I saw it on Internet Superstar, I immediately took a screen shot, because I was just too excited not to! :)
And last but not least...for now...I share my mugshots!
