First time I've locked my keys in the car today. Ah! I felt hopeless as I stood there staring into my car with the keys sitting right there on my seat! I wasn't sure what to do, so I called my dad. Yes, little girl has to call her daddy for help! He was still in Radford at work, and that's about half an hour away, and he said he had to finish up something. I tried calling Kevin, but he was busy with his project. I had no idea who else to call, so I just sat on my car and waited. Watched cars go by, a lot more bikers than usual. It was a really nice day, thank goodness. Finally my dad came and took me home for dinner. He decided he'd get a wire hanger to try and unlock my car. After we ate we headed on back. About 20 minutes later with no luck, we decided to call someone. Who do you call when your keys are locked in your car? I figured since I was off campus, I couldn't call the campus police. So we called numerous Lock and Key services. One couldn't come for another hour, so I checked other places. One had a number that was disconnected, and another was really sketchy. When I called they just answered "hello" and not some company name like places usually do. I asked him if he unlocked cars with the keys locked in, he asked me how I could pay. ...just like that he went to payment. So I said we had a credit card, and he asked if we could get cash. What?! Not something like, "we are only able to accept cash at this time" or something but, can you get cash? I told him we weren't near an ATM. So he asked a couple of car questions, then decided he could come help me. I asked him how much it would be and he said, $105. WHAT?! No way. My dad said the usual is $50...I still think that is ridiculous. Why does it cost that much, for someone to drive less than a mile and to do something that takes like a minute...Anyway, I called the first people back and they didn't answer, so we decided to call the police. They don't unlock cars, but he told me to call the Campus Exxon. They said they could do it for $50. We waited about 40 minutes for them to show up and my car FINALLY got unlocked. Needless to say, we're getting a second key made on Friday. Ah!

And I will probably make sure I know where my keys are at all times.

Every so often Kevin and I plan a "date night." They are usually really fun and involve dinner, a movie, and either Target or Wal-mart. This time Kevin and I decided to eat at Arby's. Kevin had a busy day and hadn't gotten around to eating lunch, so he was pretty hungry. Poor kid had to wait for his chicken to be made after he ordered. So much for fast food. Ironicly, I had Wendy's for lunch...and Arby's just bought Wendy's.

After we fed the starving Kevin, we headed over to Wally World to see if the camera Kevin wants was there. I saw it on their website, so I knew they carried it in a way, but we weren't sure if they had it in the store. So we went. I also got a couple copies of my car key made since I locked my keys in my car and all. This way there will be multiple copies and we won't have to pay $50 to get my keys out again! I picked up some CDs for TBS pictures as well. Sadly, the camera was not there. But I did decide what camera I wanted since my camera is still disappeared.

Since the camera wasn't there, we headed over to Target. Yes, both in one night! It was not there either, but we did find an Enchanted Game for GameBoy Advanced! I can't believe it is $30 though?! Crazy.

Our next stop was Best Buy. They have a bigger selection of cameras in general. BUT...they didn't have the one Kevin wanted. Naturally. The one I wanted was there so I got to play with that some. We ran into @sfarris! It's always nice running into a fellow twitterer!

Best Buy is brand new, in a long strip mall...by the mall. So I decided we should walk down to Petsmart. We want a panda hamster one day, and we're going to name her Widget! Such a geeky thing to do, right? I told Kevin that a widget is like a small application, and a hamster is like a small...cat. Maybe not so much, but oh well. They didn't have the panda hamsters there! I was shocked! But they did have these tiny itty bitty hamsters there...I forget their name, it started with a "d"...and I know it wasn't "dwarf." But they were cute! Kevin didn't really care for them because it said on the info about them that they don't like intruders and they attack them! Eek! But they're so small!!! We moved over to the kitties. The one my mom liked, Princess Grace, who is a big black cat was still there. The one I fell in love with was a long haired white kitty who had spots of tabby on it. She talked so much, and just meowed at us constantly. She also marched and really really wanted us to bed her, but there was silly glass blocking that from happening. I would love Kevin to get a cat! He'd be so adorable with one.

Afterwards we headed over to the mall, parking by the movie theater so the car would be there later after the movie! We went to Sears first to see if they had the camera. They actually did! But it was cheaper on Amazon, so we decided to just order it. After all that! We hung around the mall for a while before we headed over to the movie theater to see Baby Mama. It was a funny, cute movie! I liked it. I was actually shocked in it, I love twists!!!

All in all the night was a lot of fun. :)

P.S. I've broken over 1,000 views!!! :) I know it says "2000" but I started the counter at 1,000 so it wouldn't look like no one ever looked at my site. Plus I started it a bunch of months in, so who knows how many looked at it before I added the counter! But yay on the 1,000! :)

The day after the Beta Iotas were initiated into Tau Beta Sigma, my little, Liz, and I went out to get our Big/Little letters made. I also let her pick out her own letters, and I had some n6227952_37436600_3162.jpgletters made. This was on April 14th. They told me they'd be ready on April 25th. First of all that was crazy! Two weeks for letters?! Back in my day...like last year, when the Greek Empo was still in existence Expert T's was a lot smaller. They would tell you they would have them finished in a week, and usually call you earlier to tell you they were ready. The girl who worked there was really nice and helpful.

Now a days they have moved to a bigger location and taken on another store's worth of customers. Most greek organizations went to the greek empo, so now they are forced over to Expert Ts. The way they do business now has totally changed. It seems less customer service oriented, and more catered to doing things faster. But they aren't very fast.

Anyway, so I wait and wait for them to call me yesterday, and they never did. So I called at about 4:30 and I asked them if my shirts were ready, and they said no. NO?! I told them I had been waiting two weeks and I was told it would be ready on April 25th. She checks the records and tells me two weeks is actually on Monday. It doesn't matter who two weeks is! You told me it would be ready on the 25th! She told me that the letters were at the seamstress and that the letters were cut out and pressed but they still had to be sewn on. She told me they'd be ready on Monday, but she couldn't guarantee that. I paid a ridiculous $20 a shirt, they better be ready when I am told their ready. The customer is always right, and whoever answered the phone was really rude to me.

I'm just not very happy how Expert Ts has gone down hill. Needless to say, I'll be making my own this summer...and some for Liz. :)
