I went to the Vigil last night for NIU that Virginia Tech held for them. I wanted to go for NIU, of course, but I also wanted to go for VT, since I didn't go to the vigil we held for the 32. I had been feeling sick that day, and I really regret not going. But I think we were all there for the fallen Huskies and the fallen Hokies. It was pretty chilly, but Kevin and I huddled our hands around my candle. I think it burnt my glove! It was really beautiful, and I think that NIU will appreciate it, because we do know how they're feeling, and unfortunately we'll forever be connected because of our common tragedy. I really hope this doesn't happen again, ever. It needs to stop.
