Yesterday afternoon we all got on buses to head over to downtown Miami for the Fan Fest. Kevin had told me that the football team was not going, either was the scheduled Frank Beamer...to good for your fans?! So I didn't see any point to this Fan Fest, and it must have not been all that important since the Hokie Club was having their reception at the same time. But we went anyway, and stood out in the freezing wind for what seemed like forever until we finally were able to perform. While we were waiting the tubas realized a camera on top of a police vehicle was moving, so when it would rotate toward them they would cheer and get all excited. Apparently some cops in the car took a picture of them with the camera and gave it to them. That was pretty funny. So when we finally got to go in, we stood in front of the stage. But they didn't have the area roped off for us, so we had to push fans out of the way, and it was really cramped and not too much fun. After we played the "Corona Girls" came out and threw out shirts, visors, and cups. I got a cup. After a little girl started dancing to Soulja Boy on stage we ended up leaving.

After we got back a bunch of us ordered pizza. It was not as good as the dominos back home, but I ended up eating about 6 pieces anyway. I was hungry!!! Kevin made it over, I was so excited! We hung out and watched WVU pulverize Oklahoma. It was really good to see him. Christin ended up going somewhere else so we didn't hang out, but I didn't feel like going outside in the freezing cold anyway. I had really wanted to go out on the beach with Kevin and walk along the water...but that wasn't going to happen when the temperature was dropping at quite a fast rate.

He left later and I passed out from being so tired.

And now it is GAME DAY!!!!!!!!!

We don't leave until 3:30, so we have the morning/afternoon to do whatever we want. There is a tailgate later, that should be fun...plus it is free food!
