Busy Morning
This morning we left the hotel for Taravella High School, a local school about 30 or so miles away from our hotel. That was where we practiced our pre-game show for the game tomorrow. When we got there they didn't have the hash marks marked on their field. So we had to wait a while for them to get that done, our hour practice got shortened to half an hour. Not going to argue with that! It is really cold today in Florida! Warmer than back at home, yes, but it was suppose to be in the 80s! It is very windy too.
When we got back I changed out of my fun "Lazy Bones" pj bottoms i wore to practice and put on some jeans to go to lunch. I went with Amanda and a bunch of others down to the deli at the hotel and we crossed the street to the beach and ate there. I decided I wanted to see if the seagulls would come over if I held up a piece of my turkey. They didn't and Amanda freaked out about me holding it so close to the table, so I threw it away from the table thinking they would focus on the turkey and not where it came from. Well...not only did a sea gull come for it, but he brought the entire beach-full of sea gulls to stare us down for more scraps. They would fly up and peek at our table too! Needless to say...I made a mistake. Finally Jersey, that's his nickname and I don't know his real name, ran after the sea gulls to scare them away. It worked for the most part, and they wouldn't let me throw turkey anymore.
The beach was beautiful though. The ocean is a really pretty blue and the beach and palm trees are gorgeous. Makes you think is should be warm! I should of brought my "Think Warm" threadless shirt! Tomorrow is my first installment of "Threadless Thursdays"!!! I'll be wearing a threadless shirt every Thursday for the rest of the year. We'll see how it goes anyway. I brought two to decide on, but since it is so chilly around here, they might not be seen due to being under many other layers of clothing!
We'll be headed to the Fan Fest soon and then we'll be back to the hotel for the rest of the evening. Kevin is coming over! :) I'm really excited to see him and we might meet up with Christin, she isn't staying too far from our hotel. It'll be good to see her.
