Kevin and I went on a date last night! A real date...a dinner and a movie kind of date. :) It was so much fun! We pretty much never go on real dates anymore...we just sort of hang out at his house or go hang out with other people. So it's nice to be able to have some time out just for us!
First we had dinner. Kevin picked me up from my house and everything! Haha. We went to Texas Roadhouse...I had just been there the night before with my parents, but Kevin LOVES the place, and I was totally fine with it. We both got this mouth water Sirloin Steak, YUMMMMM!!!! It is so good, and they have horseradish, which I LOVE with steak! We definitely enjoyed ourselves and got super full!
After we were finished we drove across the street to the movie theater. We had decided to see Dan in Real Life! It didn't start for another hour, so we just got the tickets and headed over to the mall to hang out while we waited. On our way over, we stopped and got some pictures with the movie poster.

There wasn't anyone around to ask for a picture together...but I wouldn't really trust anyone either. Crazy people out there in Cburg! :-P So we headed over to the mall. I had been wanting a sweater from the Gap, and Kevin said he would get it for me for Thanksgiving. (I got him a sweater and a scarf for thanksgiving, haha) We went to the Gap and I tried it on for him to find out his opinion and he liked it, plus all sweaters at the Gap right now are half off!!! That was pretty awesome. So he got it for me! YAY! :)

Yes, I took a picture of it! You'll be able to see it actually on me on Thanksgiving, because that's what I'm wearing for dinner. :)
Kevin and I decided to chill on a couch while we were waiting for the movie to start. I tried getting a picture of us, but Kevin would not cooperate! I saved all the messed up ones and put them together with the good one:

Silly.
It was finally movie time! We headed back over to the theatre, got a drink and some cookie dough candy and headed to the theatre. There was only one other family in the theatre when we got there, so we got some good seats. The theatre is brand new, and has stadium seating, so anywhere in the bottom half sucks, and pretty much all of the top half is awesome. The theatre never got filled, it's break and this movie has been out for a while, but a few more groups of people came in. Including a bunch of brats who made noise the entire time and kept leaving and coming back in...very annoying. When the movie started, they were still talking and laughing, I just wanted to go yell at them! But I had tolerance, like Kevin says I don't have! Haha. The movie was GREAT! Steve Carell stars in it, and is about a man who is a single father raising three girls. His wife had died four years earlier from cancer, i think it was...they talked about her getting sick. He was a writer for an advice column about parenting and family stuff. His family goes to his parents house to meet up with the entire family (brothers, sister, their families), and his daughters are pretty mad at him for various reasons, so his mom sends him to get the newspaper to get away and clear his mind. At the store he meets a woman. They hit it off and have tea and talk and talk, until she gets a call and had to leave. He finds out she is in a new relationship, but she gives him her number anyway so they can "finish their conversation." ***Apparently I gave away too much, so I took this part out to not reveal too much*** DUN DUN DUNNNN. Now go see the movie and find out what happens, because I loved it! :) I can't wait for it to come out on DVD, because I'm definitely buying it! YAY! My big sister, Sarah, loved it too, and now I know all what she was talking about. Haha.

After the movie we headed back to Kevin's house. On the way we listened to some fun songs. One was "The Way I Am" by Ingrid Michaelson. I first heard it in an Old Navy commercial and I just love the lyrics and the way it sounds. We listened to it twice and sang along.
We listened to a few other songs, ones that just really make you dance. And it was so hilarious, Kevin was just jamming away and singing along, it's really adorable. I need to get it on video sometime when he isn't paying attention. I was dancing along with him and cracking it. It was probably the most fun I've had in a car ride back from Christiansburg ever! Haha. I kept saying, I can't wait to blog about this!!!
When we got to his house we relaxed and watched TV until I was falling asleep and then Kevin took me home.
It was a fantastic night!!! :) Thank you so much for everything Kevin! :)
