Happy Tuesday, October the 9th. This morning I DID NOT want to wake up. I was so tired and my ear hurt. But I think I'm feeling better now. I eventually convinced myself to get to work. I got there just in time to leave for class! Haha. I got a Mocha Frapp from CVS and hopped on the bus. I got to class early, as usual. I get on the bus right before 9:00 because after 9:00 it starts going around the drillfield instead of up by Washington St. It's a lot easier to get off by Litton-Reeves than it is to get off by Hutcheson. Anyway, I drank my yummy beverage and did the "very easy" Sudoku in the CT since it is Tuesday. Class started, there was probably a third of the people who are usually there. Our professor lectured some and then we did an in-class exercise. It was very interesting. Basically we had three different choices for what to do with a patch of land...so restore it to its natural state, to make it into a golf course, or to put a toxic waste plant there. I talked my group into picking the toxic waste plant because the reasons to put it there seemed better for the small town it would benefit than the other two. We ended up being the only group to pick that choice. After class I saw Kevin at the bookstore! We talked for a while, he had to go get ready for the press conference, so he left and I went to get lunch and wait for my next class. My next class was Women and Science. We talked about how when kids are little, parents will give their kids girl like toys to their daughters, and boy like toys to their sons. And how kids are usually raised gender specific. We talked about this, probably the first day of class. But Friends was brought up twice! That's always fun. I went back to work and I get there in time for the last half of a meeting...what fun! Haha. My boss told me she would like me to see if anyone wants to take over Christin's job when she graduates. I'm going to miss her so much! I started getting really hungry and I realized that the cold front that was headed this way was going to hit really soon, so I crossed my fingers that Marching Virginians practice would be canceled. And it was!!! :) They said they would never say practice was canceled before 5, and the email was sent at 4:48. Awesome. I went to Substation II and then went home. I passed Kevin on the road on the way to get the sub! He was on his way to Kobe. YUM! So now here I am watching my recorded All My Children.
