I just finished an exam that our teacher emailed the questions to us and we had to answer back through email. Never done that before, but hey, it was fine with me. She sent it to us Tuesday after class and we had until today by the end of class...and she let us have class off to work on it. I wish all teachers would let us do that. :) Haha.
Tuesday was the 2009 Ring Premiere! That was fun. We got to see what our class ring looks like and they had fireworks and free t-shirts for us. Free food was also advertised, but I never saw any :( Haha. Oh well. I really like our ring, but any ring with any of the symbols on it is too big for my small hands, so I'll just see the symbols on Kevin's ring and I'm getting a very girly ring. :) My mom is buying it for me as a graduation present, she says I HAVE to graduate then. Haha. I was like, deal! AND she said I could get real diamonds in it. OOO! :) I can't wait to order it, AND I can't wait to HAVE it. We can't wear them until the ring dance. Which is on March 28-29. I'm so excited to get dressed up and dance and stuff. It'll be almost like a prom. But with rings! Haha. My mom told me she didn't go to her ring dance, but she was a date to another one. She went with a Cadet! And they get to walk through the sabers and stuff. I don't see why everyone can't do that...but I'm hoping Kevin will at least ask me to the dance! ;) Haha. March is going to take FOREVER to get here, I know it. AND it is at the END of March. Which means we have to wait until March is pretty much over too. So I'll just sit here and twiddle my thumbs for six months. My mom is letting me wear her class ring. It's a little big for my taste (not ring size, but stone size). I like smaller things. The ring I want is called Victory. Kevin is getting Conquer, which is the actual class ring. They are HUGE! He wants to get the stone with the VT on it, it looks really cool. :) I'm sure I'll get pictures up eventually! :)
With the Marching Virginians, we don't have a show for a WHILE. We have a lot of away games, so we only had two days of practice this week! Yesterday and today. So that's a nice break after a very busy September! We are working on pre-game right now. Which is where we make two VT's, HOKIES spell out, and the double TECH. It's a very popular show, and we're doing it at the Thursday night Boston College game. We are also working on the music for the Aerosmith show! That should be fun. We did Queen last week for the Homecoming game. That was fun too. :)
This weekend is Fall Break! We basically have Monday off. Everyone is going home, but since I'm already home...I'll probably just relax and work all day Monday.
That's all I have for my little update right now. I'm sure since I'm becoming less and less busy I'll update a lot more. And I'll work on getting pictures up of the rings and from the ring premiere!

We're getting over the hill!
I'd just would like to say...GO HOKIES!!!!!!!! That was a great game. It would have been even greater if we would have made the second half the same as the first half, but it's fine. I'm sure our defense was REALLY tired for how much they played. For those who don't know, we beat them 41-23! I'm a little disappointed in the 2-point safety they got by sacking Tyrod Taylor. But I'll somehow get past it. LSU JUST won against the Florida Gators. They were losing up until near 2 minutes left in the game when they got a touchdown. They really almost lost that.
I really wish we could have gone to Clemson. That would have been fun to have been there. But I'm also glad to have been able to watch it with Kevin. After the game we went out to Wally-World and then Sonic where Kevin bought us treats! :) Thanks Kevin! :)
Time for bed though, I'm really tired.
Night!

Happy Tuesday, October the 9th. This morning I DID NOT want to wake up. I was so tired and my ear hurt. But I think I'm feeling better now. I eventually convinced myself to get to work. I got there just in time to leave for class! Haha. I got a Mocha Frapp from CVS and hopped on the bus. I got to class early, as usual. I get on the bus right before 9:00 because after 9:00 it starts going around the drillfield instead of up by Washington St. It's a lot easier to get off by Litton-Reeves than it is to get off by Hutcheson. Anyway, I drank my yummy beverage and did the "very easy" Sudoku in the CT since it is Tuesday. Class started, there was probably a third of the people who are usually there. Our professor lectured some and then we did an in-class exercise. It was very interesting. Basically we had three different choices for what to do with a patch of land...so restore it to its natural state, to make it into a golf course, or to put a toxic waste plant there. I talked my group into picking the toxic waste plant because the reasons to put it there seemed better for the small town it would benefit than the other two. We ended up being the only group to pick that choice. After class I saw Kevin at the bookstore! We talked for a while, he had to go get ready for the press conference, so he left and I went to get lunch and wait for my next class. My next class was Women and Science. We talked about how when kids are little, parents will give their kids girl like toys to their daughters, and boy like toys to their sons. And how kids are usually raised gender specific. We talked about this, probably the first day of class. But Friends was brought up twice! That's always fun. I went back to work and I get there in time for the last half of a meeting...what fun! Haha. My boss told me she would like me to see if anyone wants to take over Christin's job when she graduates. I'm going to miss her so much! I started getting really hungry and I realized that the cold front that was headed this way was going to hit really soon, so I crossed my fingers that Marching Virginians practice would be canceled. And it was!!! :) They said they would never say practice was canceled before 5, and the email was sent at 4:48. Awesome. I went to Substation II and then went home. I passed Kevin on the road on the way to get the sub! He was on his way to Kobe. YUM! So now here I am watching my recorded All My Children.
